Mature size – 3" to 4” diameter canes, 35 to 50 feet in 3 years. Clumping Variety - NON-INVASIVE Hardy in zones 9 through 11, returning from roots in zone 8. Full sun to full shade (full shade will be shorter). Moderate water after established. Currently growing in 1 gallon (trade gallon) pots. Ready to expand and quickly grow in your garden. No shipments to Arizona or Hawaii
- Yellow Timber Bamboo - Gorgeous bright yellow canes with distinctive green stripes. Mature size - 3-4" canes that are between 35 and 50 feet in 3 years. These plants are currently 3.5 feet tall or taller.
- This variety is a clumping bamboo - so no concerns about invasiveness and no need for under ground barriers.
- Full Sun to full shade, but in shade canes will be shorter. Moderate water after established in the first year.
- Fully hardy in zones 9, 10, 11. In zone 8, there maybe some frost damage, but in the harsher winters, it will return from the roots.
